The GRAPHTACT system is a technological innovation dedicated to the tactual production of graphic material. This system was developed within the frame-work of a large braille standardization project now underway at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Technological tools do not yet solve problems of the tactile adaptation of images. In the current research, the ultimate objective is the normalization of tactile graphics. The project is at the visual image analysis phase: elaboration and development of a methodological tool.
